Tim Russert

June 13, 2008

Newsman and host of Meet the Press has journeyed home at 58. Now he Meets the Father in joy to hear the words " You are home my precious and faithful son. It's time to rest. You served me well. Your heart is still but now is celebrating a life well lived." We lift up his family that the Lord will comfort them as the reality of the sudden journey home brings sadness and grief to their hearts.

Don't grieve for Tim. He waits at the gate for his wife, Maureen, son, Luke and his beloved Dad Big Russ. He leaves a very beautiful legacy of love and Catholic ethics, the way he served as a journalist, son, husband, and Dad. Jesus hold his soul close to your heart and let us pray for the peace he now has earned. His work on earth is finished.
