Those Who Sow in Tears

The Lord has done great things for us. May those who sow in tears reap with shouts of joy. He that goes forth weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy. Psalm 126:3a, 5, 6a. (Mass, St. Joseph Church, Pearlington, MS, after Hurricane Katrina. Only the steps of the church were left. The Francis House, meeting place of Our Lady of the Pearl, was swept away in the flood waters, with only the slab remaining.)

O most Sacred Heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore you, I love you and with true sorrow for my sins, I offer You this poor heart of mine. Make me humble, patient, pure and wholly obedient to Your will. Grant, good Jesus, that I may live in You and for You.
